CAPA offers an array of service and learning opportunities for graduate students in Counseling, Social Work, and Marriage and Family Therapy.
Internship Opportunities
CAPA internships offer students the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse client population and support families experiencing complex trauma. Flexible scheduling, including days, evenings and weekends as well as opportunities for additional training to advance students on their professional journey.
Monthly living stipend and education award for students who qualify for the AmeriCorps Program.
Clinical
CAPA offers services for the community 7 days a week and dedicated interns make this possible. CAPA is looking for students completing their Masters in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy to work with our clients by providing counseling services for children and families overcoming abuse or trauma.
Administrative Social Work
CAPA’s Administrative Social Work internship allows students to gain experience in outreach, community education, advocacy, fund development and program administration. Internship is open to students completing Master level degrees in Social Work.
General Administration
General administrative internships or volunteer project opportunities in the fields of Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, or Business Administration may be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
